🌟 Putting First State Youth First 🌟

First State Youth is committed to empowering teens in Wilmington with active, healthy, and positive alternatives. Our mission is to create safe, engaging spaces where young people can thrive without the pressures of marijuana, tobacco, or vaping.

We are seeking the support and cooperation of Wilmington Parks & Recreation and Mayor John Carney to bring this vision to life. Together, we propose:
✅ Oversized outdoor games that encourage fun and teamwork
✅ Prizes and incentives to keep teens motivated and engaged
✅ Concessions and refreshment stations to support long-term outdoor play
✅ Improved park resources, including bathrooms and youth-friendly facilities

Too often, our children want to be outside, but the parks lack the resources that make them enjoyable, safe, and sustainable for youth activities. By filling these gaps, we can make our parks true hubs of healthy living, fun, and community connection.
