The First State Fit:
The First State Fit is more than a wardrobe closet; it is a bridge. We aren't just handing out blazers; we are providing the blueprints for professional identity.
We created this initiative because we refuse to let a "lack of a tie" be the reason a brilliant mind misses out on a life-changing opportunity.
What We Do:
The Wardrobe: We provide high-quality, modern professional attire—suits, blouses, dress shoes, and accessories—so our youth can walk into any room with their heads held high.
The Education: We break down the "unspoken rules" of the professional world. We teach our youth what "Business Casual" vs. "Business Formal" actually means, how to tie a Windsor knot, and how to maintain their clothing.
The Confidence: We don't just "dress" them; we empower them. When a young person sees themselves in a mirror wearing their "First State Fit," their entire posture changes. They begin to see themselves as the leaders we already know they are.
Why We Need You
Building a wardrobe from scratch is expensive. Expecting a teenager from a struggling neighborhood to navigate this alone is unrealistic.
Your support provides the tools. They provide the talent.
How You Can Support The Fit:
Donate Professional Wear: We are looking for modern, clean, and "ready-to-wear" professional clothing. (Think: Would I wear this to an interview tomorrow?)
Sponsor a Suit: A monetary donation of $100 can provide a full, tailored look for a graduating senior or a young person starting their first internship.
