Meeting Our Youth Where They Are—Right Now. Before a young person can build a business, plan for the future, or dream big, they need basic stability. Through our work alongside partners like the Teen Center at the Boys & Girls Club and direct surveys across our Wilmington community, we listened to what our kids are actually facing every day. We are stepping in to stabilize these pressing crises head-on so our youth have a safe foundation to grow: Food & Basic Supplies: Direct nutrition access and daily essentials for families navigating food insecurity. Literacy & Life Skills: Practical reading, comprehension, and financial literacy programs to build confidence. Safe Housing & Crisis Relief: Immediate support and local guidance for youth experiencing homelessness. Substance & Violence Prevention: Real talk, harm reduction, and safe harbor from marijuana, vaping, tobacco, and neighborhood violence. Sexual & Physical Health: Honest, confidential health resources, hygiene access, and supportive guidance. First, stability. Then, success.
